Changes to the Spring 2012 MPA Qualifying Examination Administration

Today, Spring 2012 MPAQE week begins. Here is the exam schedule:

This semester, there will be a few changes to the MPAQE exam administration process, which takes place as a part of PAD 700.
This year exams will NOT take place in the PAD 700 classroom, but WILL take place in room L2.72.05, located in the ITSS Suite on the Lower Level of the new building. Both students and faculty should arrive on time for exam so as to make certain that they have ample time to find the lab.

All students will type their essays into a Word document, after which the document will be uploaded to, to support the logistics of the grading process.

Therefore, students who do not currently have Turnitin accounts are strongly encouraged to create one prior to the test date. Any student who does not have an account prior to the test may be asked to create an account after the exam. Students who miss the exam during one particular period may take the exam during another period on the schedule. Students who have not taken the MPAQE or who are retaking it may take the exam during any period on the schedule

Special needs students must make arrangements to take the MPAQE through the Office of Accessibility Services at least one week prior to the scheduled exam date.
