Student Conference Support

We encourage students to participate in annual conferences so that they expand their academic and professional networks. By engaging in such conferences, students are open to new opportunities in research, affiliations, and mentorship. They are encouraged to build strong networks with other MPA students and practitioners domestically and worldwide. Sharing ideas and experiencing new environments help solidify our students’ foundation in their areas of study.  The MPA Program supports student participation at public administration conferences throughout the year. Our students have presented research or attended conferences at: 

  • American Society for Public Administration (ASPA)
  • Northeast Conference of Public Administration (NECoPA)
  • Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM)
  • Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA)
  • Association of Inspector General (AIG)
