Shilpa Viswanath, Assistant Professor
Dr. Shilpa Viswanath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Management. Her research focuses on public sector human resource management and gender equity. Dr. Viswanath also studies comparative public administration with a special focus on South Asia. She presently serves as the Faculty Advisor to the MPA Student Association and the ICMA Student Chapter at John Jay College. Dr. Viswanath has a PhD from Rutgers University’s School of Public Affairs and Administration and an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
